The aim of the framework agreement is to cover the whole of the armed forces and Forsvarsbygg’s need for (points 1-4 are the main needs), with the exception of Troms, Finnmark, Andøya, Sortland and Ramsund:
1. Laundry, dry-cleaning, impregnation and other treatment and finishing services for clothing/fabric/commissariat material – including various types of clothing and uniforms, bedding, towels and other fabric/textiles. The service is hereafter called only laundry (laundry includes dry-cleaning).
2. Hire and laundry of bedding and towels.
3. Sewing and small repairs – e.g. repairs of uniforms/fabric, repairs of membrane with sealing seams on clothing. The service is hereafter called repair sewing.
The framework agreement for repair sewing is only for the repair/maintenance and not for new production/new sewing/re-sewing/adaptations.
4. Stores/storage and all other handling (including laundry) of the armed forces’ own bedding and towels as well as the collection and delivery of this direct to the awarding authority’s barracks/officer messes and any other relevant buildings.
5. Other services – hire of laundry trolleys/stands/fabric sacks.
6. Various additional services/articles (the service provider’s other assortment).
The service provider must, possibly with the help of sub suppliers, cover ABSOLUTELY ALL units/departments/stores for the armed forces and Forsvarsbygg in the whole of Norway For both laundry, dry-cleaning, repair sewing, hire of bedding and towels, as well as storage and handling of the armed forces’ own bedding and towels, except Troms, Finnmark, Andøya, Sortland and Ramsund.
The service provider shall see to all freight/transport of articles (DDP reception centres, Incoterms 2010) including absolutely all costs connected to this, either themselves or by the help of sub suppliers/a third party.
Deliveries connected to the armed forces’ vessels are subject to being covered by other contracts or other activities.
The framework agreement is for 3 years from when the contract is signed. The awarding authority reserves the right to extend the framework agreement once or several times for up to 12 months. The awarding authority has a 6 month unilateral notice period.
