Framework agreement for workwear and protection equipment for the Norwegian Maritime Directorate

Sjøfartsdirektoratet (Haugesund)

As part of the Directorate's focus on safety and building its reputation, the Directorate's management has decided that our employees who carry out inspections or who for other reasons have a need for workwear and protection equipment, shall have safe and uniform clothing. The framework agreement for the procurement of workwear and protection equipment shall give the possibility of procuring only a selected product within each category of workwear. Internal uniform regulations will be worked out that will see to this after the framework agreement has been signed with the chosen supplier.
The Directorage plans, via entering into the framework agreement, to make a major one time investment of products. This is futher described in the specifications. Thereafter the framework agreement will be used to cover our continous need for the procurement of new workwear and protection equipment. Emphasis is put on the fact that the Directorate will chose one set of workwear and the contract supplier shall ensure that no other products than the chosen product is ordered.
The framework agreement will be for three years, with an option for the Norwegian Maritime Directorate to extend the contract for a further one year.
See the Norwegian Maritime Directorate's specifications for a further description of what workwear and protection equipment shall be included in the framework agreement.
