EØS 014/015-2012. Construction works for upgrading Kvernevik and Y. Sandviken treatment plants

Bergen kommune

Bergen municipality shall during the coming 3 years expand and upgrade four of the largest mechanical sewage treatment plants in the municipality.
The plants that shall be upgraded are:
— Ytre Sandviken sewage treatment plant,
— Kvernevik sewage treatment plant,
— Holen sewage treatment plant,
— Flesland sewage treatment plant.
All the plants are in rock. New rock halls/transport tunnels shall be blasted for the upgrading of the plants. New basins shall be cast in the rock halls for cleaning the sewage water, as well as the establishment of various rooms for technical installations etc.
Contracts have previously been signed for rock and ground works for the upgrading of the plants.
This qualification document is for a pre-qualification for participation in tender competitions for 2 different contracts:
B4, construction works, Kvernevik sewage treatment plant (EEA 014-2012).
B5, construction works, Ytre Sandviken sewage treatment plant (EEA 015-2012).
Freestanding tenders will be collected for the two contracts B4 and B5.
Contractors that are pre-qualified will be sent the tender documents in separate files and will themselves have to decide on whether to submit a tender for only one or both of the contracts.
The tenders will be assessed separately, but offers of a discount can be made to Bergen municipality if one is awarded both the contracts.
The contract will be signed in accordance with NS8405:2008. Any changes and specifications will be in the tender documents.
