Elvika treatment plant - Contract for machinery and processing

Modum kommune

Modum municipality henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, requests tenders for new processing equipment for Elvika treatment plant. At present, the treatment plant carries out purification process with pre-treatment, pre- sedimentation and chemical precipitation.
The capacity shall increase from the existing 3 100 pe to approx. 9 800 pe, and the process shall be expanded with biological levels. The superstructure of the existing plant shall be demolished and replaced with a new superstructure on the existing foundation and basins. Construction works for buildings and electro installations which will be adapted the selected processing equipment, will be subject to separate contracts.
The Awarding Authority requests tenders for delivery and installation of new, complete machinery. The contract shall be carried out as an engineering, procurement and construction contract and the contract will also include commissioning of the plant. The works are so detailed described that a principle system is already decided, but the Awarding Authority is open for components of various brand and design. The supplier must state how the structural functions shall be adapted the proposed equipment and the supplier will also be responsible for the delivered equipment is working in accordance with description.
