E39, the Byfjord and Mastrafjord tunnels-Upgrading of safety equipment
Upgrading of safety equipment in the Byfjord and Mastrafjord tunnels includes new control system, ITV monitoring system, coalescing of emergency stations, guide lights, emergency lights as well as backup power supply in all distribution systems.
Main quantities:
- Trenches in tunnels 15 700 m.
- Pipes in tunnels.
- 40 mm 42 00 m.
- 50 mm 8 500 m.
- Conduit manholes; 105 units.
- 16 low voltage distribution system, backup power supply with accompanying UPS.
- 60 cabinets for emergency stations.
- 40 cabinets for emergency stations in existing SOS niches.
- New telephone exchange with IP telephony in tunnel.
- Radar based ITV monitoring with 22 radars and 100 cameras.
- New control system in both tunnels, with 17 PLS
- Establishment of emergency lights in hanging ceilings.
- Establishment of longitudinal guide lights.
