E16 Renovation Nes tunnel. Rock and construction works

Nes tunnel on the E16 in Hole municipality shall be renovated and upgraded to the current standard. This contract is for rock and construction works that shall be carried out in this connection.
The tunnel is 1276 m long, cross section T9 and was constructed in 1988. The tunnel is now cleared for all fittings down to the existing road. The water and frost protection arch, technical building and all electro equipment and cables have been removed. A 22kV high voltage cable that is in operation lies under the right (eastern) verge. This shall be temporarily moved over to the other side of the tunnel and later moved back again in this contract, and it will be in operation throughout the construction period.
The tunnel shall be upgraded to the current standard for two lane traffic, but shall be improved for being the southbound lanes in a future four lane tunnel. The tunnel cross section shall in principle be kept as it is, but with a possible back-ripping of humps and sections where it is tight for the new water and frost protection and new equipment.
