Bane Nett in Jernbaneverket invites interested suppliers to a qualification for a competition for the delivery of specified leased lines products to Bane Nett.
The delivery comprises analogue and digital communication, optical channel and dark fibre as completive services for our own cable connections. Jernbaneverket has a need to ensure stabile and operationally secure communication between a total of approx. 600 locations. This is mainly the 2Mb/s for GSM-R network. Jernbaneverket Bane Nett otherwise uses most types of communication with capacities from 2Mb to 10GIG, electrical and optical interface.

Jernbaneverket has a need to ensure stabile and operationally secure communication between a total of approx. 600 locations. This is mainly the 2Mb/s for GSM-R network. Jernbaneverket Bane Nett otherwise uses most types of communication with capacities from 2Mb to 10GIG, electrical and optical interface.A careful growth in need is expected for a period whilst our own fibre based IP/MPLS network is completed. We envisage a future need that will migrate from the current hired 2Mb/s communication to larger capacities such as, for example, optical channel and wavelength.See the attached documents for further information.
