Contract involving total delivery of bio-heating to the Giske area

Sandnes kommune

Sandnes municipality, the property department, wishes to enter into a contract for delivery of complete heating based on pure bio-fuel to:
Giskehallen with locker room buildings, Sandnes Stadium, Giske comprehensive school and Jønningheia kindergarten.
The tenderer shall construct, own and operate the complete heating system until and including the customer centrals in the listed buildings within the stated agreement period.
The contract period is 10 years from signing of contract. Expected start of works 3.5.2012. Option for the Awarding Authority to prolong the agreement with further 5 years in accordance with contractual obligations. See the tender documents with annexes for detailed description of the procurement.

The Awarding Authority shall have option for delivery of bio-heating in connection with expansion, reconstruction or new buildings and facilities in the Giske area during the agreement period. Estimated maximum additional quantity during the option period is 1 GWh/annum.
