Bus services in Nedre Glomma and Indre Østfold

Østfold County, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, invites to a tender contest for local bus services (regular bus service and school transport) in Nedre Glomma and parts of Indre Østfold. The contract period is from 1.7.2013 until 30.6.2020. Option for 3 years prolongation. The tender notice includes 3 separate agreements in 2 route areas. The route areas are at presented carried out by approx 130 buses in the route area 1 Nedre Glomma and approx. 40 buses in the route area 2 Indre Østfold. The route production in the notice is to some degree reduced in relation to the existing service.

The service is at present carried out by approx. 130 buses but the bus service in the new agreements starting in 2013 is to some degree reduced in relation to the existing service.

The Awarding Authority requests tenders for both biogas and diesel buses in bus class 1. laventre with both 12 and 15 metres buses as well as midi buses with a length of up to 10, 5 metres. The buses shall as a minimum comply with the environmental standard EURO 5.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:

Option for the Awarding Authority to prolong the agreement with 3 years. The Awarding Authority requests option prices for 15 m buses in route area 1. These buses are intended to carry out school transports and trunk lines in case of requirements in relation to alterations of routes and/or new requirements for seating students and other passengers.

Only tenderers who comply with the regulations for execution of passenger transport given in regulation of 26.3.2003 no. 401 regarding professional transport in Norway with motor vehicles and vessels, are allowed to participate in the tender contest. This also applies for any sub-providers expected to be engaged in the assignment.
