Assessment of alternatives for new Munch museum

Oslo kommune v/ Kulturbyggene i Bjørvika

The intention of the assessment is to obtain decision basis with cost estimate and progress plan for alternative the National Gallery/Tullinløkka area (Alt. 1A and 1B) and alternative Tøyen (Alt. 2A, 2B and 2C). The alternatives for the museums that are subject to assessment are based on 2 different programme requirements and ambition levels for the Munch Museum.
The Stenersen museum is included in Alt.2 but not in Alt.1. The assessment shall be basis for a city council decision regarding final location of the Munch Museum. The museum alternatives which shall be assessed are based on two different programme requirements with various functional areas.
Independent of the programme requirement, it is a condition that the museum alternatives subject to assessment meet identical museum engineering requirements, are in accordance with regulations and city council decisions as the existing draft project - i.e. energy/environmental requirements, fire-proofing/security requirements, climatic requirement for storage of art, requirements in relation to operation/maintenance and requirement in relation to universal design.
If the assessment exposes that one or several alternatives cannot meet these requirements, special description of the aberrations and consequences of these shall be given.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:

If it turns out during the assessment period, that it may be relevant for Alt. 2 / Tøyen to consider a new Munch Museum on another site at the Tøyen area outside the defined area as stated in the tender documents’ Appendix 4, the Awarding Authority has option for extend the assignment.

(4) Self-declaration in compliance with Appendix 2 (HSE) of the Norwegian procurement regulations (national requirement).

The supplier shall have settled conditions in relation to payment of taxes and VAT.

The supplier shall present a HSE self-declaration certificate.

The supplier shall be a legally established company.
