The City of Bergen shall during the next three years expand and upgrade four of the largest mechanical sewage treatment plants in the municipality:
The following plants shall be upgraded:
— Ytre Sandviken sewage treatment plant,
— Kverneviken sewage treatment plant,
— Holen sewage treatment plant,
— Flesland sewage treatment plant.
All of the plants are located in rock and in connection with the upgrading of the plants, new rock halls/transport tunnels shall be blasted. In the mountain halls cleaning tanks will be cast for the treatment of the sewage water, establish various rooms for technical installations, etc.
This qualification document comprises pre-qualification for participation in tender contests for the following enterprise:
V0.1, Air purification installations in connection with the upgrade of Ytre Sandviken, Kvernevik, Holen and Flesland sewage treatment plants(EØS 053-2012).
Tender documents are expected to be sent out in January 2013. The contracts will be signed after NS8405:2008. Any changes and specifications will be stated in the tender documents.

The plants shall be adapted and designed for gas types and gas volumes in the exhaust air in the different plants. The design of the facilities shall be flexible, be adaptable to any space, and have good solutions for operations, maintenance, cleaning and possible replacement of carbon.The plants shall be delivered complete with control automation interfacing an overall BMS.Informative airflows of the four plants: Ytre Sandviken, approx. 25 000 to 30 000 m³/hour, Holen approx. 40 000 to 45 000 m³/hour Kvernevik approx. 20 000 to 25 000 m³/hour and Flesland approx. 20 000 to 25 000 m³ / h.For further description of the quantity and scope, see the attached qualification documents.
