Acquisition of a common school administration system

Vigo IKS

Vigo IKS invites vendors to apply for a qualification to participate in a dialog to compete for the acquisition of a common school administration system (SAS) that will be used by all the counties in Norway including the municipality of Oslo (which is both a county and a municipality). Vigo IKS will enter into a framework agreement with one vendor that includes software, maintenance/support, operations, and implementation of the new system.
The counties are responsible for the upper-secondary education, private/external candidate education, adult education, and vocational school education. The city of Oslo is in addition to the before mentioned educational areas, also responsible for the primary and secondary schools.
The solution will be managed by Vigo IKS. However, the operations of the system must be allowed to be exposed to competitive tendering.
The future SAS must mainly support the fundamental needs of all the primary, secondary and upper secondary schools. This implies that the solution must be flexible and scalable so that it can be tailored to meet the needs of the different schools.
