The assignment involves working out solution documents and a preliminary project for upgrading/developing/renewal of the mess building at Kjevik in Kristiansand.
The military users of the mess are the Armed Forces school centre Kjevik and the Home Guard.
The following phases are included:
Solution documents, sketch project and preliminary project.
Working out the tender documents and engineering design services (option 1) as well as participation in the execution phase and in the claims phase (option 2) are included as options in the notice.
All follow up/control/working out of MOM documentation is to be done in cooperation with the contractors.
Orientating description of measures.
The measure includes:
— The main measures/renewal includes improving leaks in the roof constructions, decay damage in the under roof and construction of the roof construction between the kitchen part and the dining part. Adding new insulation to the roof and outer walls, replacing outer doors and windows in accordance with the current requirements for energy efficiency in accordance with the national building codes § 14-1,
— There is a universal design requirement. This concerns the entrance area, plan solution, communication road and toilet room. Ref. TEK10 chapter 12 Plan solution and building parts in the structure,
— Technical fire improvements, fire insulation and ventilation channels and setting up new fire walls in accordance with TEK10 chapter 11 Fire safety,
— Electrical adaptations,
— Ventilation, adaptation of channels.
