The project comprises design and construction of spherical radome over existing radar antenna. The radome diameter is not determined, but will be in the range of 45-65 feet in diameter. The size will be specified in the tender documents. The radome shall be constructed by the use of rigid self-supporting elements. It shall be possible to replace elements as/when needed.
The radome shall be established on Norway’s West coast, an area with very large climatic stress in the form of wind and rain.
The contract shall be executed as a turnkey contract with the following partial deliveries:
— detailed engineering design of the radome, including:
—— engineering design, planning and design of the radome / radome elements, joints, port and attachment to the foundation,
—— coordination with the supplier of foundations,
—— production of the radome and related elements,
—— factory-Test (FAT) of the radome elements,
—— transport of the radome and related elements to the building site,
—— installation of radome on the foundation, or a dedicated tutor with experience of installation of equivalent radome,
—— site Test (SAT) of the finished radome.
It may be necessary to transfer this assignment to the main contractor for the other construction work.
Radome shall be installed and tested by 1.10.2013.

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:

(2) Company tax certificate (National requirement).

(3) Self-declaration in compliance with Appendix 2 (HSE) of the Norwegian procurement regulations (National requirement).

Both references shall be the RF-1244 type, determined by Skattedirektoratet (the Directorate of Taxes) Certificates shall be no older than 6 months calculated from the expiry of the tender deadline.

Foreign suppliers can submit documentation that is approved in supplier's country of origin. If this is not possible, some form of documentation of no tax arrears should be produced.

Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:

The contract's payment conditions are as follows.

— 1/3 payment at the time of contract agreement (on production of bank guarantee),

— 1/3 payment at the time of radom delivery to building site,

— 1/3 payment at the time of transferral/completion of the whole enterprise.

Supplier shall submit confirmation from their bank stating that they will deliver an on demand guarantee for the first of these part payments.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

1. CV(s) for key personnel with qualifications within:

— planning/design of radome with equivalent specifications,

— static and dynamic dimensioning of radome with equivalent specifications,

— installation of radome with equivalent specifications, and/or

— certificate demonstrating requested competence.

If necessary, supplier can submit documentation from sub-contractor to demonstrate that they jointly meet the requirement.

2. Description of relevant reference projects, including:

— short description of the project size/scope,

— radom type (fabric on frame, rigid elements, sandwich),

— size of radom,

— description of the climatic conditions for which the radome is dimensioned,

— the radome's attenuation of the radar beam and other design criteria.

3. Written confirmation that supplier has the capacity to deliver and install the radome with the specifications in the period 1.5-1.9.2013 if ordered by 1.11.2012.
