100-BYM-2012 Operation of the artificial ice in Spikersuppa

The Town Environment Department would like service providers for setting up and operating the artificial ice in Eidsvoll plass, Spikersuppa. The artificial ice in Eidsvoll plass was first establihshed for the olympic games in 1994. It has later been altered and modified in order to simplify its operation. The artificial ice is an important element in the town picture and is heavily used. The artificial ice in Spikersuppa is known for its high quality. The awarding authority would like to continue this.
The artificial ice site in Spikersuppa shall be a skating rink of good quality for figure skating. The site shall be a non-organised winter sports offer adapted for a broad section of the population. The offer shall have a low user threshold. Adaptations for as many user groups as possible with particular thought to UU and children and youths. The assignment does not include operation of the cooling plant as this is covered by a separate framework agreement.
