The competition had an option to give tenders for parts of the procurement. Two tenders were received for the part concerning freight carriages, of which one tender was rejected due to considerable deviations from the specifications. There was therefore only one tender in the competition. As a result of this, the competition was cancelled for this part of the contract pursuant to the Public Procurement Regulations § 22-1. This part of the competition will be announced at a later date. Emphasis is put on the fact that this is a partial cancellation. It is the awarding authority's intention to award a contract for the field carriage category.
