Restricted tender competition (turnkey contract competition with solution proposal) for planning and carrying out the project Trondheim Vocational College and Adult Learning Centre, Adolf Øien, for complete contractor groups with architect and consultants, with a prior pre-qualification of 5 groups. The Adolf Øien college is owned by Sør-Trøndelag county. The property will be freed up in January 2013 when the students are transferred to the new Thora Storm sixth form college and thereafter it shall be used by Trondheim Vocational College and the adult learning offer in Sør-Trøndelag county and Trondheim municipality.
The project consists of a total of approx. 9 500 - 10 000 m2 building, of which approx. new buildings/extensions make up approx. 4 000 m2 and alterations/renovation of 5 500 m2 existing college buildings. In addition there will be some development of outdoor areas and the demolition of an approx. 1 200 m2 existing building.
