Frame agreement(s) for purchases of replacement batteries for electrical powered wheelchairs and add-on power kits for manual wheelchairs. New wheelchairs and add-on power kits are delivered comlplete with batteries. In connection with this tender, a replacement battery is defined as a battery which is purchased after the initial puchase of the electrical powered wheelchairs/add-on power kits, e.g. when the initial battery is scrapped or replaced.
The tender includes 6 independent product categories.
The contract(s) will have a duration of 2 years, with option for Arbeids- og velferdsdirektoratet to prolong whole or parts of the agreement two times uptill one year each time. Estimated purchases over 4 years is 130 400 000 NOK.

Information about the award procedure and number of suppliers that may be awarded contract: When Arbeids- and velfredsdirektoratet has ranked the offered batteries in any of the six product categores, the battery that has the highest rank (no. 1) will be awarded contract for the named electrical powered wheelchairs (add-on power kits for manual wheelchairs) it fits to. If the battery ranked as no 1 number doesn't fit to all wheelchairs (add-on power kits) in the product category, the battery ranked as no. 2 will be awarded contract for the remaining wheelchairs (add-on power kits), if it fits to any of those. And so on untill all wheel chairs (add-on power kits) are "linked" to a battery. The Purchasing Authority is acting on behalf of the following organisations: All NAV Technical aid centres. The annual accounts for the supplier, alternatively for the parent company, for the last 2 years. The annual accounts shall also contain the comments of the board and the external auditor.
If the parent company commits itself on behalf of the supplier, the offer shall contain a signed parent company guarantee as shown in the competitive documents.

The supplier shall have a sufficient financial capacity to fulfill the agreement.
The parent company may, if the supplier does not fulfil this requirement and the parent company fulfill the requirement, commit itself on behalf of the subsidiary.
