Supply of district heating to Kongsvinger Prison

Statsbygg, region øst

Statsbygg owns Kongsvinger Prison, Vardåsen and G departments, with a heated building stock of approx. 10.800 m, and wants to enter into a contract with supplier of district heating for room and water heating. The planned contest's required power does not release obligation to acquire a licence for potential district heating plant. Estimated effective requirements is approx. 1 000 kW. Estimated energy requirement is currently approx. 1 200 000 kWh, but the requirement may increase, amongst other things by future construction projects on the site. Award authority's goal is to achieve a situation where a minimum of 75 % of the input factors for heat production are renewable. The supply shall include delivery of district heating pipes to technical rooms, including follow-up work and subscription central. Statsbygg is not making sites available for production plant.
