The system software which is currently used is provided by several suppliers. The operative system is provided by IBM. The central processor is an IBMz10 EC, model 2097-704. During 2011 several independent procurements will be undertaken for a central and distributed platform. These qualification documents are for a competition for the following sub areas:
1. Tool for backup, recovery etc. for z/OS;
2. Administration of databases.
Each tenderer can qualify for one or both of the sub areas.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:

The contract for the procurement of software will come into force when it is signed by both parties and will start with a Start Up Project.

The contract will then run for a period of 3 years from the Approval Date, with options for the awarding authority to extend the contract for 1 year plus 1 year with written notification at least 6 months before each period expires.

Requirement: The supplier is required to have a legally established company.

Documentation requirement: Certificate of registration in the company register as described in the law in the country where the supplier is registered, e.g. company registration certificate from the Brønnøysund Register Centre.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

Experience:

— good description of the supplier’s three most important relevant deliveries in the last 3 years, including their system/products, value, role/area of responsibility, date and recipient. The name and contact person at the reference customer shall be given so that NAV can make contact if needed.

Ability to fulfil the contract: Description of the supplier’s technical capacity with a description of relevant units at the supplier. Use of sub suppliers cf. point 2.5 in the qualification documents.

Methods for quality assurance:

— account of the company’s quality assurance system as well as any certificates issued by independent bodies,

— short description of the supplier’s central method areas/processes relevant for ensuring the quality of the delivery. The description must include a description of methodology/processes for: The start up project, maintenance services, licence and contract handling.

Minste nivå(er) av standarder:

Experience: Considerable and relevant experience is required from similar deliveries within the actual sub area, cf. chapter 1 in the qualification documents.

Ability to fulfil the contract: A very good ability to fulfil the contract is required for the delivery/deliveries.

Methods for quality assurance: Well tested and appropriate methods for quality assurance are required.
