The system software which is currently used is provided by several suppliers. The operative system is provided by IBM. The central processor is an IBMz10 EC, model 2097-704. During 2011 several independent procurements will be undertaken for a central and distributed platform. These qualification documents are for a competition for the following 2 sub areas:
1. Software for statistics reports and ad-hoc analysis which shall run on both Windows and zOS. 2. High level analysis/report generation.
Each tenderer can quality for each sub area or for both.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
The contract for the procurement of software will come into force when it is signed by both parties and will start with a start up project.
The contract will then run for a period of three years from the approval date, with options for the awarding authority to extend the contract for one year plus one year with written notification at least 6 months before each period expires.

Ability to fulfil the contract: description of the supplier’s technical capacity with a description of relevant units at the supplier. Use of sub suppliers cf. point 2.5 in the qualification documents.
Methods for quality assurance: — account of the company’s quality assurance system as well as any certificates issued by independent bodies. — short description of the supplier’s central method areas/processes relevant for ensuring the quality of the delivery. The description must include a description of methodology/processes for: The start up project, maintenance services, licence and contract handling.
