Rental of excavators, drilling rig and heavy goods vehicles

Arendal kommune

Arendal Municipality Infrastructure wishes to enter an agreement with one or several suppliers for execution of municipal engineering roads and VA works on an hourly basis.
It is assumed that the work will be carried out in close co-operation with Arendal Municipality’s own construction and maintenance department. The works must be assumed to cover the whole of Arendal Municipality, with assembly point at each current project site.
As shown in the specification of requirements, hourly rates are required for the chosen machines, both with and without operators, so that it can be possible to hire in only machines/goods vehicles and use municipal personnel to operate them.
There will occasionally be the need for work in excess of normal working hours (7:00-15:00).
Estimated annual requirement for rental.
Large caterpillar excavator approx. 2 000 hours.
Small caterpillar excavator approx. 1 200 hours.
Drilling rig approx. 100 hours.
Heavy goods vehicles approx 600 hours.
For all rented material there is a requirement for documentation of certification, insurance agreements and EU approvals.
