Procurement of inspection vessels

The Norwegian Coastal Administration, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, shall procure 2 vessels for the Awarding Authority’s shipping company. Both vessels shall be used in connection with inspection of all types of navigation marks and for ignition of switched off installations in the operation areas along the Norwegian coast.
The vessels shall be designed for sailing in open maritime zones and for easy entering of islets and reefs. The vessels shall be designed for carrying smaller types of cargo, in the size of euro pallets. The inspection vessels shall also contain options for accommodations, simple cooking and toilets.
The minimum size of the inspection vessels shall be between 11 and 14 metres and be built in accordance with Norwegian vessel standard. The cost frame for the total contract is approx. 6 000 000 NOK including VAT. Subject to financing.

Credit appraisal from an approved credit rating agency such as Dun & Bradstreet, Lindorff or Experian. The appraisal shall be based on the most recent known accounting figures with a statement on how the credit appraisal has developed the previous 2 years.

It is required that the tenderer has solid financial strength. This is defined as: The tenderer shall be worthy of credit, have sufficient liquidity and low risk of going bankruptcy.

(1) A list of the principal deliveries effected, or main services provided, by the company, in the past three years, with the values, dates and recipients (for supply and service contracts).

The tender shall contain reference list of the company’s principal deliveries for the previous 3 years, including values, dates and recipients. The references will be controlled in accordance with requirements.
