Prequalification, engineering, procurement and construction for a new primary school at Brattås

Nøtterøy kommune

1.1 Objective and extent: The contract includes construction of a new primary school at Brattås, preparation of outdoor areas and infrastructure as well as demolition of the old school building. The stipulated area frame for the new buildings is approx. 2 400 m². The property developers who prequalify will be invited to participate in the engineering, procurement and construction tender contest, based on Nøtterøy municipality’s, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, tender documents and Norwegian Standard 3431 with amendments;
1.2 Contract practice: The contract shall be executed as an engineering, procurement and construction contract with architect solution when the Awarding Authority requests predictability in the entire process in regard to finances, extent and participation. A clarification period must be expected in order to quality assure user assumptions and room plan prior to contract formation;
1.3 Educational platform, environmental programme and technical requirement specification. A description of the educational platform (room and function plan) and environmental programme have been prepared. This shall be the basis for the project’s goal and instructions and basis for pre-qualification and technical requirement specifications in connection with the consecutive tender contest. Subject to reservation regarding alterations in the above listed documentation related to the tender contest.
