Two different framework agreements shall be entered into:
1. A framework agreement with a supplier of personal protection equipment
2. A framework agreement with a supplier for the hire of workwear. The supplier shall also wash the clothing.
Re. 1: Personal equipment: Suppliers must be able to offer a broad spectrum of personal equipment so that the KTP group’s needs can be met. Furthermore suppliers are required to have competence in personal equipment requirements so that the supplier can provide guidance on the choice of protection equipment and offer alterations and other adaptations to diverging sizes so that the changes do not reduce the effect of the protection.
Re 2: Hire and laundry of workwear:
KTP shall hire workwear and the supplier shall also wash it.
On the contract date the supplier must be able to collect and deliver clothing at several places in the Oslo area several times a week.

In order to register for the competition, suppliers must send in all the documentation requested in point III.2. Attached self-declaration (prequalification of suppliers) that the supplier must fill in. After the prequalification has taken place, a minimum of five – 5 – of the best qualified suppliers will be invited to give a tender for the negotiated procedure. The five “best qualified” will be chosen based on the qualification criteria: — Good finances, satisfactory quality assurance system and experience with equivalent deliveries. IF KTP has experience of any of the applicants, this experience will be weighted in the same objective way as the applicant’s other stated contract references. The supplier’s economic and financial capacity is weighted 40 %, — Technical and professional qualifications are weighted 60 %. The awarding authority reserves the right to hold the competition even if there are fewer than five – 5 – applicants who are deemed to be qualified. See the qualification documents. (NT Ref:234939).

The framework agreements will include an option to extend the spectrum of products and services in order to ensure that KTP’s need for personal equipment and the hire/laundry of workwear are met.

The contracts will also include an option to extend the duration for 1+1 year beyond the contract’s length of 2 years.
