In different phases of the construction of the T2 project it will be necessary to have temporary systems for altering passenger traffic. This shall be solved by foot culverts of varying widths/lengths, some with a need for, among other things, inserted doors and windows. The containers will also have to have different degrees of internal standard and technical installations.
Some of the containers will therefore require special adaptions which will be done in the workshop but there will also be a need for moving, altering and maintaining the construction site during the whold of the construction period 2011-2016.
The amounts and date for delivery will depend on the different construction phases – the first delivery of approx. 6-12 units will be in July 2011.
The altered containers and foot culverts shall be delivered ready assembled in or around the current terminal building at Gardermoen.
The contract will include both the procurement and hire of container systems depending on that the awarding authority finds most suitable. There can also be a need for temporary storage of the units between construction phases.
The hire/procurement of other types of containers, such as storage containers can also be necessary.
