Oslo Lufthavn AS has a strategic ambition to increase the use of public transportation to and from the airport through a combination of taxi, train and buses. Today, the airport has more than 700 bus movements daily (1000 movements during peak), consisting of normal public bus services, chartered bus services and shuttle buses to the parking facilities and nearby hotels. The airport has 15 platforms for buses located outside the terminal’s arrival level.
The Contracting Entity is to procure a Bus platform control and information system. The procurement will request a complete system consisting of platform planning and management, information displays for drivers and passengers, vehicle detection, entry control systems and automatic barriers. The information and the display systems are to be an integrated part of the airport’s Digital Signage system.
The procurement includes a service and maintenance agreement lasting until 31.12.2016.
