The awarding authority shall run the Norwegian EE register, at first for 2 years. There will be an option for 1+1 year.
The assignment shall ensure that manufacturers and importers of EE products fulfil their manufacturer responsibility as regards the waste regulations chapter 1.
In sort the assignment’s assignments can be summarised as:
— Reception, storage and quality assurance of data,
— Comparing reports,
— Following up manufacturers who do not fulfil the waste regulations § 1-10,
— Information assignments,
— Financial assignments,
— Administrative assignments.
IT related assignments:
— Operation of the existing IT system,
— Maintenance of the IT system,
— Further development of the IT system.
