Operation and management of outdoor facility

This tender contest involves operation and management of the outdoor facility surrounding the Norwegian Parliament. The contract will include operation and management of the Norwegian Parliament‘s outdoor areas every day, all year round. Spring, summer and autumn operation will include cleaning of roads and places, removal of graffiti, waste removal, lawn moving services, removal of weed, removal of dead leaves, as well as trimming of bushes, trees and roses.
The winter operation involves cleaning, snow clearing and sand/salt scattering. In order to execute the requested works, it is expected that the contractor has professional comprehension and knowledge of cultural-historical elements in central green areas.
The work place will be at one of Norway’s most trafficked pedestrian area and public traffic must therefore be taken into account. It is of great importance that the existing traffic is upholded whilst the works are executed. Sections of Wesselplass are currently being used as public transport route. The contractor must therefore also take into consideration that this section of the facility is heavily trafficked.
