Øksnevad upper secondary school-reconstruction and expansion of the school building, V30 pipe system
Rogaland County, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, shall reconstruct and expand the existing school building belonging to Øksnevad upper secondary school in Klepp municipality.
The oldest section of the building shall be demolished and the remaining section shall be extended in both ends with a new building. The existing facades shall be insulated and covered equivalent as the new building in such a way that the complete building appear as one overall architecture.
Consequently the works will include some demolition and reconstruction of the existing sections as well as construction of new modern educational premises.
The building is projected as a passive house, i.e. the energy for heating shall not exceed 15 kWh per/m2 per annum.
Nor, shall it have mechanical cooling. This will create major requirements in connection with execution of outer walls, thickness of insulation, ventilation systems and control systems. In order to keep down the air exchange, low emitting surfaces will be required indoors.
