Skyss’ paramount objective is to digitalise the dissemination of information to the customers when found suitable.
Skyss shall in connection with this establish a digital communication channel for dissemination of road-user information (including timetable information) and other related information to digital monitors at selected public transport terminals and stops in Hordaland.
A monitor-based information and publication system (Digital Signage system) shall therefore be procured. The system shall simplify management, publication and production of customer communication to digital monitors.

Skyss wishes to enter into an agreement with a supplier of the system, necessary infrastructure and services for delivery at Bystasjonen and Lagunen. Skyss also wishes to enter into an agreement for maintenance. The agreement period is 2 years with option for 1+1+1 year(s) prolongation.As options, Skyss requests possible expansions of the systems to include other terminals. Options for expansion of the system will be described in the tender documents.Estimated requirement is 20-30 monitors for each of the terminals at Bystasjonen and Lagunen. Numbers and monitor types will be specified in the tender documents. The monitors will be of various sizes and some of these shall meet the requirement for universal design and support use of pressure-monitored-based functionality.As an option, Skyss also considers procurement of monitors which shall be installed in information columns placed at selected platforms/stops. Own company:
A brief and principal description of the company, including:
— overview of the company’s history, organisation and ownership as well as a description of the present activities,
— description of the company’s business idea and how the company is organised in connection with deliveries of digital signage systems,
— overview of the supplier’s available competence in connection with deliveries of digital signage systems. the competence shall be specified in relevant hardware and software as well as installation and configuration.
Written statement showing that the supplier has an operative quality assurance system as well as a brief description of this system.
Minimum 3, maximum 5 relevant deliveries for the previous 3 years. The attached template (Annex B) shall be completed.
It will be emphasised experience with deliveries where Digital Signage software has been integrated with routing data system and/or system for reporting real time public transport information.
The Awarding Authority shall be able to contact the stated references.

The supplier shall have an operative quality assurance system.
The supplier shall be well experienced with corresponding Digital Signage deliveries in relation to this procurement’s objective and scope.
