Majorstuen School - complete restoration

Undervisningsbygg Oslo KF

Oslo municipality, fao. Municipal Undertaking for School Buildings, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, invites to an open tender contest in connection with complete restoration of Majorstuen School.
The project shall be executed in the existing building’s total gross area of approx. 11 145 m2. The building shall be completely internally stripped and shall as far as possible be reconstructed in accordance with the Awarding Authority’s requirement specifications. This includes new complete electrical and HVAC technical installations. The existing buildings have a compound architectonic design and constructional engineering solutions due to various years of construction.
The building is listed in accordance with the Director of cultural heritage management’s yellow list, which restricts interventions on facades. The outdoor area shall be upgraded and a new ventilation room/building outside the building structure shall be constructed. The school will not be in use during the complete renovation works. The works with external renovation / climatic buffer are in progress.

Credit appraisal/rating not older than 6 months based on the most recent accounting figures. The entire credit rating report shall be presented and shall contain key figures for the previous 3 financial years. The rating shall be carried out by a publicly approved credit rating agency. If found necessary, the Awarding Authority reserves the right to collect separate credit appraisal. If the contractor has valid reasons for not substantiating the financial situation in accordance with the above listed documentation requirements, the Awarding Authority will consider other suitable documentation.

— An overview over assignments carried out during the previous 5 years with certificates of satisfactory execution of the principal works. The certificates shall state values, times and locations for the works and state if the works have been executed professionally and properly. Reference person should be stated, including the awarding authority, project manager and construction manager, and the Awarding Authority shall be given authority to contact the person concerned,
