Construction stage 1 has been completed which consisted of a new day surgery building in a courtyard in the somatic hospital with a technical room and main ventilation room for the surgical area. The construction stage which shall be carried out consists of 3 main phases and a couple of middle phases during which we will always have 4 theatres out of action at any one time, whilst the rest of the activities will run as normal. Construction stage 1 has electrical installations which have been prepared for use/connection with the next construction stages. This will put a lot of demands on the contractor organisation. The construction stage consists of a total of 12 theatres and a theatre for infected patients (new) with the accompanying service room, stores, lifts to the sterile centre, personnel room etc. The surgical area shall either be altered or updated both constructional and technically so that the department, when completed, is a modern surgical department. The electrical installations also consist of group 2 room which the accompanying support room. The main guidelines are to be primarily laid in technical mezzanines above and below the surgical floor. The electrical installations shall be executed so that they are prepared for the next construction stages so that the electrical installations shall not go into completed areas from ongoing construction stages. Emergency power (UPSs) for medical transformers in day surgical group 2 room and rooms which shall also cover the group 2 rooms as well as lighting in the surgical department was established in construction stage 1. The other installations which shall be connected to the emergency power shall be connected to a separate emergency power distribution. The surgical columns and lights are a separate contract, but the electricity and data shall be conveyed to the ceiling points for connection. NEK 400:2010 shall be used except for parts of the last construction stage when only small supplements for contact points and data points shall be carried out. The contract form is joint lots, but the lots can be transported to one lot so that it is a typical main contract or general contract. A decision on this will be taken after the tenders have been received. The construction works could also be carried out in two shifts so that the time when the surgical department has 4 theatres out of action is as short as possible. The surgical department has a technical middle floor above and below the department, which will simplify the work somewhat. The company must have the classification “satisfactory” or better for liquidity and solidity in a credit check by Lindorff.

(1) Manpower proposed for this contract (organisation chart) with names and CV's of the key personnel who will be responsible for its execution (for service and works contracts);
