Interior architect services for the new Munch-museum

The contract is for interior architect services for the new Munch-museum. The building is situated in Bjørvika in Oslo.
A contract will be signed for phase 3: Preliminary project. The awarding authority shall have an option to extend the contract to include phases 4: Detailed engineering design services and phase 5: Construction and claims phase respectively.
The deadline for completion of phase 3 Preliminary project is provisional set to 15.3.2012, provided that there are no unexpected conditions from the awarding authority’s side.
Proposals for a binding cost limit and grant shall be laid before the town council after the preliminary project has been completed and the development plan has been approved. Provided that there are not any unexpected conditions, the town council will deal with the matter in June 2012. The continuation of both projects are subject to approval by the town council and the contract’s options will be taken up after the town council’s approval at the earliest.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:

The awarding authority shall have an option to extend the contract to include phases 4: Detailed engineering design services and phase 4: Construction and claims phase respectively.

The assignment can be ended after each phase if the necessary assumptions and approvals for continuation are not in place. The service will then be cancelled without further reason and without any compensation obligation for the awarding authority.

(4) Self-declaration in compliance with Appendix 2 (HSE) of the Norwegian procurement regulations (National requirement)

The service provider shall have his tax and VAT payments in order.

The service provider shall enclose a HSE self-declaration. The service provider shall be a legally established company.

The company’s last 2 annual accounts including notes, the board’s annual reports and the auditor’s reports, as well as recent information which is relevant for the company’s accounting figures.

The awarding authority reserves the right to obtain a credit rating on their own initiative if needed.

The service provider shall have the financial capacity to fulfil the assignment/contract.
