Horten Church - framework agreements, external renovation 2011-2015

Horten kirkelige fellesråd co/Castor Kompetanse

Horten Church, situated at Karl Johansvern in Horten municipality, shall be subject to external renovation executed as a multi-annual project. The works include i.a. repairs of brick facades, roofing as well as spire and fitting details.
Horten Church is worthy of preservation. The Awarding Authority will therefore require contractors with special competence and proven experience from corresponding works and comparable buildings worthy of preservation.
In the first round interested tenderers are invited to present their qualifications. 2-3 of the most qualified tenderers for each discipline will then be invited to submit tenders.
Contractors registered for participation will receive a qualification documents which describe how the qualifications shall be presented.

Proven experience from corresponding works on churches and/or other buildings worthy of preservation is required. Reference list of the 2-3 principal comparable works shall be presented. See also the tender documents.

Horten Church is worthy of preservation. The renovation works shall be based on repetition of original execution and methods. The Awarding Authority will therefore require contractors with special competence and proven experience from corresponding works and comparable buildings worthy of preservation.
