Grandstand Nøtterøy Hall

Objective.
The objective of the grandstand is to supplement the existing grandstand places in order to increase the audience in Nøtterøy Sports Hall by approx. 800 places/seats in various arrangements, primarily in connection with handball matches.
Description of the physical conditions and relevant drawings.
The Nøtterøy Sports Hall which came into use in 2011 accommodates two handball courts, with a main court across the two courts (See attached drawing).
In this connection we want a mobile grandstand which can be placed along one of the long walls in the hall when this is not in use. The grandstand can be up to approx. 50 m long. It is important that the grandstand can be pulled out from the wall, tight up against the playing line of the main court when this is in use.
There is a limit to how far the grandstand can stick out from the wall when it is not in use because of the safety zone which must be protected. This is now 2.30 m from the wall to the playing line. The requirement of the Norwegian Handball Association is that there shall be a 1.5 m safety zone. Dispensation has been obtained for a grandstand which stands up to 1.3 m out from the wall when it is not in use.
The two handball courts must be available for use when the grandstand is not in use, and placed against the wall. In this case there must be room for one handball goal per court, 1,26 metres from the court line, back against the wall (see attached specifications for handball goals). If the grandstand is more than 1 metre when not in use, we can not have stands behind the area where the goals are.
It is also very important that the grandstand system does not damage the floor in the hall. The specifications concerning the floor are attached.
