Framework agreement - transport scheme for library material

Rogaland fylkeskommune

Rogaland county, hereafter called the awarding authority, invite companies to an open tender competition for a transport scheme for library material.
The competition’s result shall be that the transport need for library material is satisfactorily covered.
In 2009 libraries in Rogaland together sent 12,038 books/documents on remote loan, whilst the number of received remote loan books/documents was 15,210. The amount is expected to increase.
28 of the county’s 30 municipal libraries have given their permission for participation in the tender for a 2 year period, starting 1.8.2011. The municipal libraries in Sokndal and Kvitsøy as well as the University of Stavanger and the county’s university colleges are not included in the scheme.
