Rogaland County, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, invites to an open tender contest regarding transport arrangement for library materials.
The tender contest shall result in that the requirements for transport of library materials are covered in a satisfactorily manner.
In 2009 libraries in Rogaland County distributed 12 038 books/documents as distant lending, whilst the number of received distant lent books/documents were 15 210. The extent is expected to increase. 28 of the Awarding Authority’s 30 municipal libraries have granted proxy for participation in the contract for a 2 years period, starting 1.8.2011. The municipal libraries in Sokndal and Kvitesøy, as well as the libraries at Stavanger University and the county’s university colleges are not included in the arrangement.
