The Norwegian public service pension fund, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, intends to enter into a framework agreement with 3 suppliers.
The objectives of entering into a framework agreement for procurement of ICT infrastructure are several, but ensuring a good price and ensure access to products and services in required extent and when required, are important.
To carry out standard procurements shall be quick and efficient and the procured products shall have good quality and good price terms. Through the e-trade system the Awarding Authority fulfils the goal of simplification and competitive prices by making the procurement portal available and a price structure in accordance with the framework agreement and comparable prices of the Awarding Authority’s framework agreement suppliers in order to find the best product, most favourable price and/or delivery terms.
The framework agreement shall cover most of the technology areas within infrastructure. Exceptions will be network technologies as well as communication security and monitoring, respectively. These will be subject to individual framework agreements.
