Framework agreement, hire of consultancy for the Urban Light Rail Project in Nord-Jæren

The procurement includes a 3 years framework agreement with experienced consultants who can provide capacity and competence support to the remaining personnel at the Urban Light Rail Office in Nord-Jæren. The consultants should also prepare tender and manage the works which shall be executed by other contractors.
The Urban Light Rail Office has been assigned by Stavanger, Sandnes and Sola municipalities as well as Rogaland County to plan a urban railway which during the first construction stage (completed within start of operation in 2008), shall connect the 3 municipal centres as well as Stavanger Airport Sola together.
This basic structure is expected to be served by 3 operation lines with a total annual railway coach km production of approx. 2 600 000 – 2 800 000 coach km. The nature of the works for the hired consultants is further described in the various subjects given in the tender and contract documents which are available for downloading.
Maximum workload per annum will be a total of up to 2,0 man-labour years divided between maximum 3-4 different people who in average (per company if more than one contract is entered into) spent minimum 80 % of the hired working hours at the Urban Light Rail Office as place of work.
The assignments will mainly be related to the ordering job for the project and will comprises of project management, project coordination and other qualified consultancy services for questions which are naturally related to qualified and formal/technical planning and elucidations/analyses of an comprehensive urban railway project.
The contract also contains option for further 1+1 year(s) prolongation of the framework agreement.
