Framework agreement - hard surfacing welding and honing points and junctions

Kollektivtransportproduksjon AS would like to enter into a framework agreement with one or several track contractors for repair works in the form of hard surfacing welding/honing of points and rails crossings. Most of the work will be the construction of block rails/grooved rails but flang rail points can also be included. In addition there will be honing grooves and waves in points and rails crossings (grooved rails and vignol).
The place of work is Oslo and Akershus.
The works are a part of Kollektivtransportproduksjon AS' maintenance programme. The framework agreement will be valid for 2 years with an option for an extension of 1+1 year (1+1). It must be assumed that the works will be carried out at night (1:00 - 5:00) in the spring and summer. Furthermore, the contractor must reckon on applying to local authorities for approval of work notification (excavation and sign plan) and exceptions from noise regulations, this can possibly occur in co-operation with KTP. The expected start is May/June 2011.

KKollektivtransportproduksjon AS draws attention to the fact that registration for the competition is done by sending in all the requested documentation in this notice's point III.2 as well as the attached qualification documents. After the deadline for registration has expired, the tender documents will be sent out to the contractors who are qualified. Contractors shall also fill in 1 self-declaration which is attached, including the prequalification self-evaluation form. Registration shall be sent by post, 1 paper copy and 1 electronic copy (CD, not memory stick). Please mark the envelope with "framework agreement - hard surfacing welding and honing of points and rails crossings - prequalification". Contractors shall state their name, telephone number and e-mail address of the contractor's contact person for the assignment. See the attached qualification documents for further information.
