Helsedirektoratet wants to enter into a framework agreement with a supplier that can offer good and updated solutions for data storage, including SAN, backup etc. as well as a good selection of related equipment and licences, and as such be a full-range supplier for award authority's data storage. Access to some support and advisory services are also included in the contract.
Award authority are planning to buy a new and complete data storage solution in 2011. In addition to this, maintenance and some advisory services may be purchased over the next few years.
Helsedirektoratet has presently a centralised data storage solution at their main offices in Universitetsgaten 2 in Oslo, which covers both the directorate and further offices which receive operating services.

If tenderer believes that the public accounting numbers are not giving the right picture of their economic and financial capacity, they can submit a reason for this. This documented information will be included in the evaluation.
