Framework agreement for purchase of teaching aids
Søre Sunnmøre Purchasing Co-operative shall on behalf of the member municipalities implement a tender contest regarding purchase of school books and other teaching aids for the schools in these municipalities. The Awarding Authority shall enter into a framework agreement for purchase of:
1) school books including educational books, teachers’ instructions, key books, digital teaching resources as a part of teaching aids,
2) fictional books, theme books, reference books and other professional literature including audio books and associated digital teaching resources,
3) educational concretising materials (not toys or art materials) and teaching aids which shall provide possibilities for diversity for available teaching methods and differentiation,
4) specialized books for the profession (applies for the school system).
The framework agreement includes the school sector. School libraries are not included in the agreement. However, the municipalities request option for including the school libraries in the framework agreements. The Awarding Authority requests tender for a system which covers the requirement stated in the tender documents.
Initially the Awarding Authority wishes to enter into an agreement with one suppler, but reserves the right to select several suppliers of digital teaching aids. This means that tenders can be submitted for digital teaching aids, only.
The Awarding Authority will chose what is considered the most economically advantageous solution for each municipality. Tenders shall be submitted for each municipality and the Awarding Authority will assess and award contract per municipality. The tender must give information if the this includes several or all municipalities. It must also be clarified if the tender which includes several municipalities, will have various conditions for each municipality.
