Bergen og Omland Havnevesen

Bergen og Omland Havnevesen (BOH) docks some cruise ships that arrive in the harbour area Jekteviken/Dokken. Due to security reasons, cruise passengers have to be transported out of the quay area by bus. The passengers shall be transported to Rasmus Meyers Allè/Byparken. The shuttle transport starts when the ship arrives, continues throughout the day and the last journey back to the ship from Byparken is one hour before the ship’s departure. An estimated 65 cruise ships will dock at Jekteviken/Dokken in the 2012 season. BOH envisages a small increase in the number of ships to Jekteviken and Dokken each year.
The cruise season lasts from approx. 1 May to the change of month September/October.
Service providers will need to be flexible as regards providing extra bus transport when needed.

The contract is for 2 years with an option for the awarding authority to extend the contract for up to a further 2 years, total maximum 4 years.

Vilkår for deltakelse
Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
(1) Company registration certificate;

Service providers are required to show a good ability to fulfil the contract in accordance with the awarding authority’s needs. Service providers are required therefore to have sufficient capacity to fulfil the contract.
Requirement: ability to fulfil the contract – equipment.
Requirements for quality assurance.
The contract requires service providers to have systems for quality assurance and an efficient flow of goods.
Requirement: experience from similar assignments.
Service providers are required to have experience from similar assignments.
If a tenderer has sub suppliers, these shall also be qualified.
The sub suppliers shall document fulfilment of the following qualification requirements:
Ability to fulfil the contract personnel.
Ability to fulfil the contract equipment.
Documentation for fulfilment of the qualification requirements for sub suppliers shall be enclosed with the tender. Missing documentation will lead to the tender being rejected, cf. FOA § 20-12.
