E39 Digernesskiftet bridge
The work area is situated on the E39 at the road junction between the E39 and county road 661 at Digernesskiftet in Skodje municipality, Møre og Romsdal county. The project consists of a bridge over the E39. It is a 3 span, prestressed, slab bridge without abutments with concete cast on site and a total length of 52 m. It is assumed that traffic will be diverted during the bridge construction.
A separate contract will be announced for road works (E39 Digernesskiftet road). This includes works with access roads to the new bridge over the E39, on and off ramps, footpaths, roundabout and a new T-junction to county road 110, blasting work, rough levelling and the establishment of a public transport point. The work shall occur at the same time as the work on the bridge over the E39, the contractor must take this into consideration.
Preparatory works were carried out in 2010: a temporary diversion road along the E39 has been established. The stream is altered and some fill replacement of the foundation for the future bridge has been undertaken. This shall be completed by spring 2011.
