The works include extension of central reserve on the existing European road 18 in Grimstad municipality, Aust-Agder County. The length of the section is approx. 3 km and the pavement widening of the actual roadway will mainly vary from 2, 5 to 4 m.
The contract also includes expansion of trenches on both side of the section. The works will mainly comprise of: excavation, mass haulage, blasting, surface water and crash barrier works.
In addition shall parts of the road lighting equipment be relocated, 1 concrete subpassage shall be expanded, as well as some extension works of 1 large steel pipe (subpassage). Start of works is September 2011.

It is required that the tender has satisfactory reference from the Awarding Authority’s experience with the tenderer’s contract implementation;

H1 value (accident frequency rate) should be lower than 20 for the previous 3 years;

The tenderer’s implementation ability will be assessed based on annual turnover, technical and professional competence of the key personnel as well as organisation of the contractual works.
