The purchase comprises services in connection with design of joint host function, joint marketing, selling and booking and joint destination development for award authority.
This is understood to be the content of the destination joint venture.
The aim of this destination joint venture is to increase employment, turnover and results in the tourist industry in the relevant municipalities, hereafter referred to as "the area".
This means that this destination joint venture shall:
— Work to publicise the area’s adventures and attractions as a holiday destination,
— Contribute to increase trade for local businesses in the area,
— Contribute to increase tourism and extend the time tourists stay in the area,
— Contribute to develop the area into a clear, accessable and definite travel destination 12 months of the year,
— Contribute to develop competence within the tourism industry in the area,
— Establish a joint spokesperson for the area’s tourism industry,
— Establish a co-ordination link both regionally and nationally for joint assignments in the area,
— Ensure implementation and execution of Trøndelag’s travel strategy in the area,
— Work to become the participant in Trøndelag that is viewed in connection with “fyrtårnet Historiske Trøndelag” and control this in a competent manner,
— Ensure implementation of a system for national and regional booking.
