Det Norske Veritas has had the task of inspecting cableways and funicular railways from 1977 and from 1993 also park and tivoli installations, in accordance with the contract with the responsible ministries, the Ministry of Transport and Communication and the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development respectively. Det Norske Veritas has given notice on the contracts for the inspection with effect from 1.1.2012.
A joint public inspectorate of cableways and funicular railways and park and tivoli installations is now being prepared under the Norwegian Railway Inspectorate, starting 1.1.2012. The new inspectorate will be located in Trondheim, where the Cableway Inspectorate and the Park and Tivoli Inspectorate are currently located.
The Norwegian Railway Inspectorate has a need to hire consultancy services for the transfer of business, which involves the establishment of a new inspectorate unit in Trondheim. The assistance will include coordination of activities connected to the establishment of a project, mapping assignments, reviewing necessary formalities and implementing measures within the various areas affected by the transfer of business; legal, financial, organisation, IT, archive, personnel and working environment; integration with the inspectorate’s office in Oslo and practical considerations such as office premises etc. The assistance is presumed to start up within two weeks of the contract being signed and it is to be completed one to two months after the transfer.

Credit rating, not older than three months, which confirms that the service provider is credit worthy. The rating shall be carried out by a publically certified credit rating institution.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
(1) A statement of the quality assurance/quality control system operated by the company;
(2) Other documentation required (please state below):
— Description of the service provider’s three most relevant assignments during the last three years. The description must include a statement of the assignment’s nature, extent and awarding authority (name, telephone number and e-mail),
— Name and CV of the responsible persons and key persons/offered resources for the various fields which will be available for this assignment. Furthermore, the offered personnel’s connection to the above mentioned services shall be stated.
Minste nivå(er) av standarder:
— The service provider must have experience from a minimum of three equivalent assignments during the last three years, preferably where the awarding authority was a public entity,
— The service provider shall have sufficient capacity and the ability to fulfil the contract.
