Concept choice review national towing stand-by

A concept choice review (KVU) shall be carried out for a joint national towing stand-by. In white paper 1 S (2009-2010) the government gave notification that they have asked that Kystverket review a future government towing stand-by in Vestlandet. Kystverket’s evaluation shows that the establishment of a strengthened towing stand-by in Vestlandet through the hire of towing vessels or construction and operation under the government will lead to considerable costs. At the same time, there is a need to look in more detail at various alternatives and carry out external quality assurance in order to get the best possible decision basis for the choice of a long term model for the joint national towing stand-by. The review shall highlight various systems for a future government towning stand-by from the Swedish border to the border with Russia and shall form the decision basis for the choice of various alternatives.

Experience is required from transport reviews (concept choice reviews - /KS1/KS2 or other relevant assignments/contracts).
