Nordmøre Interkommunale Renovasjonsselskap, NIR, consists of Aure, Averøy, Halsa, Kristiansund, Oppdal, Rauma, Smøla, Sunndal and Tingvoll municipalities. The company administers, among other things, general contracts for the municipalities, including a contract for the collection, transport and treatment of sceptic sludge.
NIR request prices for the collection of sceptic sludge from households, transport of dewatered sludge to reception centres and treatment at a certified reception centre. The assignment is for all the member municipalities. The assignment is announced as an open tender competition in accordance with the “Public Procurement Act” and the accompanying regulations.
